Ana Sofía Henao (Medellín, June 19, 1982) is a Colombian model, writer and illustrator prominent in the world of modeling and who has recently ventured into the field of illustration. She is considered one of the most recognized models in Colombia, famous for her campaigns on the covers of school notebooks.
Ana Sofia was born in the city of Medellin, department of Antioquia, on June 19, 1982. She began her modeling career at an early age, posing for a swimwear catalog for the Onda de Mar brand at the age of sixteen. She has worked in advertising campaigns for nationally recognized brands such as ManPower, Cristal Oro and Skechers, as well as being the image of several notebook and school diary brands. She has been on the cover of popular publications in Colombia such as SoHo, Vea and Imagen and of Ocean Drive magazine in its Venezuelan edition.
In 2004 she got engaged to Max Santana. They broke up in 2007.
In 2016 she married social communicator Juan Pablo Betancur.
In 2016 she debuted as a writer and illustrator with the publication of the teen-themed book Belinda: Princesa de fuego.
